iPhone and Android browsers can’t capture another app’s audio. Use the Room tab to record on this phone, or Upload a recording.
Record an online call
Zoom, Teams or Google Meet. Share the call’s window or tab and we record the screen and sound. No bot joins your call.
Tab audio + your mic. The Mic button is MeetingFlow’s own mute: the mute inside Zoom, Teams or Meet does NOT silence this recording.
Make Alt+M work while Zoom or Teams is in front (free extension)
A web page only hears the keyboard while its own tab is in front. The MeetingFlow Mic Hotkey extension listens system-wide, so Alt+M mutes and unmutes your mic in this recording from any app.
Download extension (.zip, 5 KB)- Unzip it first. Windows: right-click → Extract All. Mac: double-click. You get a folder called
meetingflow-mic-hotkey. Keep it somewhere permanent (e.g. Documents); Chrome loads the extension from that folder. - Open
chrome://extensions(Edge:edge://extensions), turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder, not the .zip. The window won’t list files inside the folder; that is normal. - Open
chrome://extensions/shortcuts(Edge:edge://extensions/shortcuts). Next to Mute / unmute your mic, click the pencil, press Alt+M, and set the dropdown to Global. - Restart the browser once. The new key only starts working after a restart.
Until you change it, the extension’s key is Ctrl+Shift+9. Chrome only allows Ctrl+Shift+number as a starting system-wide key, but lets you pick Alt+M yourself.

- It only acts while a MeetingFlow screen recording with your mic is running. Otherwise the key does nothing.
- It mutes MeetingFlow’s recording only. Mute in Zoom, Teams or Meet is still separate.
- Keep the browser running (it can be minimized) with the MeetingFlow tab open.
- On a Mac, Alt is the Option key. If another app already uses Alt+M system-wide, pick a different key in step 3.
- Chrome may occasionally warn about “developer mode extensions”. That is normal for extensions installed this way; choose to keep it.

Public links up to 500 MB. When a site blocks downloads (YouTube bot checks, Instagram, Reddit, Vimeo), MeetingFlow uses the video’s own captions where it can: you still get a transcript and notes, but no playback.

- Open Shortcuts and tap + to create a new shortcut.
- Add Record Audio (Quality: Very High, Finish: On Tap).
- After recording, save the audio file and use Upload in this app. Automatic webhook setup is not available yet.

Android
MacroDroid or Tasker, started by a volume button or Quick Settings tile
- Install MacroDroid or Tasker from Google Play.
- Create a trigger: Volume Long Press or Quick Settings Tile.
- Add the action Record Microphone to
/sdcard/rec.m4a. - Save the file, come back here, sign in and choose it in Upload. Automatic webhook submission is not available yet.
